We are proud to have a seasoned leadership team of dedicated individuals who have committed themselves to making our Mid Central Coast clubs safe places to learn and grow during non-school hours. With over 17 decades of service to youth between us, we have the experience to enable the young people of the Central Coast, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Executive Team

Michael Boyer, Chief Executive Officer

Bio -

Michael Boyer has been a leader in operations, technology, and marketing for 28 years. He has served the Central Coast nonprofit community for the past 20 years focusing on community building and equity projects – servingSLO.com. Michael lives in Arroyo Grande, CA with his wife, Ashlea, and son, Jack.

Hobbies – Michael and his family enjoy traveling, skiing, biking, hiking, and of course volunteering – watch for them cleaning up the highway in Pismo Beach, CA.

Roberto Rodriguez, Vice President of Regional Operations--Santa Barbara County

Bio -

Bio – Roberto has joyfully served the youth of our central coast communities for over 20 years. He is blessed with a wife and three wonderful boys.

Hobbies – Roberto and his family enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and of course boating in the summer.

Meghan Harris, Vice President of Regional Operations--SLO County

Bio -

Bio – Meghan is an energetic people person who loves using her experience and education to help expand the capabilities of the team at BGCMCC. She has been volunteering and working with youth focused non-profit organizations since she was a teenager.

Hobbies – Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, enjoying family gatherings and collecting as many different types of pets as possible.

Anna Libbon, Vice President of Club Success

Bio -

Bio – Anna has worked for our Club for over 30 incredible years, and is still excited to come to work everyday, because working with youth is a true passion of mine.

Hobbies – Anna’s hobbies include mosaic art, baking, mixed media, sewing and just about anything that allows me to be creative.

Emily Reneau, Chief Philanthropy Officer

Bio -
Emily has over 20 years of fundraising and community relations experience working for local and national charities including the American Heart Association, the Paso Robles Children’s Museum, Cal Poly, Atascadero Chamber, and the Paso Robles Wine Alliance.
Hobbies – When she’s not serving on a local board, Emily can be found enjoying local theatre, winetasting, kayaking and hanging out at the beach.

Tricia Hammond, Chief Financial Officer

Bio -

Bio: -Trish Hammond has been a leader in finance and administration for multiple organizations
on the Central Coast over the past 20 years. Through hard work and dedication, she has had a
major impact in the areas of fiscal management, human resources, operations, and technology
support.  A first-generation college student, Trish graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Since then, she has brought her
expertise and experience to our local manufacturing, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors. She has
happily combined her extensive understanding of corporate finance with her passion for giving
back to the community through her work.

Hobbies: Trish loves everything about living on the Central Coast and can be seen enjoying
long walks, good food and music, and spending time with her family. She also loves traveling,
reading, cooking, and solving a good puzzle.

Ernesto Cuevas, Director of Healthy Lifestyles

Bio -

Bio – Born and raised in Santa Maria and Ernesto was a member of the Boys Club as a youth and has been with the Club since 2001.

Hobbies – Ernesto’s hobbies include, golfing, being outdoors, exercising and enjoying good wine.

MINA DONKOR, Senior Traditional Clubhouse Director

Carmen Mendoza, Senior Traditional Clubhouse Director

Bio -

Bio – Local to Santa Maria and Guadalupe Carmen has been with the Boys & Girls Club for 25 years, and proudly became a Cal Poly Liberal Studies Graduate in 2010.

Hobbies – She likes to spend time with her family, crafting and binge watching shows on Netflix.

Nestor Frausto, Senior Traditional Clubhouse Director

Bio -

Bio – Nestor is a former club member and has worked for BGCMCC since 2010.

Hobbies – His hobbies include golfing, triathlons, spending time with my family, and two Australian Shepherds.

Brandi Garcia, Accounts Specialist / Office Manager

Bio -

Brandi has been happily employed with the Boys & Girls Club for over 20 years and is excited at how far the organization has come and continues to go.

Hobbies – I love cooking, barbecues, road trips, the DODGERS and spending time with my daughter, son and family.

Kelly White O'Neill, Director of Marketing & Donor Communications

Bio -

Bio – Kelly uses her extensive experience in non profit leadership, fundraising, and program development to serve the needs of BGCMCC, helping it grow and be sustainable to serve as many youth as possible.

Hobbies – Her hobbies include gardening, cooking and convincing her family that adding one more chicken to her backyard flock does not make her a “crazy chicken lady.”

Daniel Rushing, Annual Fund Manager

Bio -

Daniel enjoys working for a mission that has goals deeply aligned with his core values and vision for the future of the Central Coast.  He uses his skills in sales, relationship building, and networking to ensure anyone interested in helping kids knows ways they can support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast.

Hobbies:  Daniel enjoys skiing, hiking, live theater and is a huge movie buff. He loves cooking, entertaining and both hearing and telling a good story.

 

Christin McGee, Executive Assistant

Bio -

Christin was born and raised in Southern California. She received her BA in paralegal studies in 2009 and worked in the legal field for ten years before moving to the Central Coast at the end of 2019. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, gardening and Harley rides. On weekends you can find her enjoying the beaches and trails with her husband and fur babies.

Mary Bolton, Program Assistant

Bio -

Bio: Mary has worked for the Boys & Girls Club for multiple years as a Club Director before transitioning to Program Assistant where she loves working with staff to help implement our high-quality Club experiences. 

Hobbies: She loves new travel experiences, reading, hiking, great Korean food, and watching poorly made old movies.
