The City of Santa Maria First Responders played in the “Ugly Sweater Classic” at the Rancho Santa Maria Golf Club and turned it into a toy drive to benefit the kids in our Santa Maria Clubs. Organized by Sargeant Daniel Rios with the Santa Maria Police Department, 40 golfers brought toys to the tournament, enjoyed a round of golf, and won prizes–including for the “Ugliest Sweater.”
Even a few of the players acknowledged being Boys & Girls Club alumni. We are so grateful for the support and generosity that comes from the First Responders in our area
