Ms. Lynea got creative with the Money Matters Program provided by Boys & Girls Clubs of America. She set up an auction for our middle school Members. The Members were given 116 fake dollars to use towards the auction. The Members learned the concept of perseverance when biding on auction items. They also learned that money has limitations and how to be money conscious with their purchases.
The Money Matters program is offered for middle and high school aged members and is made possible, in part, by funding recieved from California Department of Financial Protection & Innovation and their Cal MoneySmart Grant.
