For 24 years the last monday in July has been the day for the annual Ag for Youth Golf Tournament at the lovely Santa Maria Country Club. The ag community, and other businesses and supporters come together for a fun day on the greens to help raise funds for our vital summer programs and all day child care. Through sponsorships, fees for foursomes, our annual raffle for a golfers dream trip to Pebble Beach, we raised over $100,000 during this critical time of year for our Clubs.
This year, on course games like the 7 Iron Sprout Swing (hitting a brussel sprout into a target), the Heckle Hole, and the Buy A Drive provided golfers with some extra fun while also encouraging them to give some green while on the greens!
