Boys & Girls Clubs and City of Guadalupe Partner to Serve More Kids

Thanks to a partnership between the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast and the City of Guadalupe, the newly renovated community center at LeRoy Park is now the Ron Estabillo Clubhouse.  This is the third Boys & Girls Club Clubhouse operating in Guadalupe.  The MOU between the two organizations allows for the Boys & Girls Club to occupy the building and run their highly regarded out-of-school programs to serve Guadalupe children aged 6 – 18.  The Clubhouse is open now and continues to take sign ups for kids that need safe, high quality out-of-school care.  Local youth can enjoy the popular Power Hour–a daily homework help program offered at all Boys & Girls Clubs around the world, a soccer league, foosball and bumper pool tournaments, a pins league, and even the National Fine Arts Program with national curriculum produced by Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and much more.  Club Members benefit from the mentorship and caring provided by the highly trained Youth Development Professionals who staff the Club daily.

The Clubhouse will be led by Daisy Perez, a 17 year veteran of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast and sign ups can begin now.  Sign ups can be done online by visiting www.centralcoastkids.org/join.  Families that need help signing up, can visit the Clubhouse, located at LeRoy Park in Guadalupe, during service hours which are 1:00 to 6pm. An annual membership fee for each child is $50 but scholarships are available.  No child will ever be turned away because of lack of ability to pay.

The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for the Ron Estabillo Clubhouse will be February 24th, 2023 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm and will feature refreshments, activities and tours of the facility.  The community is invited to attend.  Click HERE to RSVP.
