No…not that kind of drama! Drama Matters! a national program from Boys & Girls Clubs of American is underway at our Creston Club and is being enjoyed by a lot of members. For eight weeks the Club will explore many facets of drama including acting, stagecraft, and other aspects of this performing art.
The goal of the DramaMatters program is to promote Club member’s love of drama, while increasing their appreciation of this art form, building self confidence, inspiring creativity and increasing academic achievement. A drama program will expose your Club members to drama and get them focused on building new skills. Young people are interested in drama, so this program can be a tool to recruit new Club members.
DramaMattersAfterschool will challenge and support our Club Members.
