This summer, the Paso Robles Fire Department paid a visit to the Almond Acres Club. Members had the opportunity to learn about what being a fireman is like and how the fire engine operates.
Members suited up in their fireman hats and toured the equipment on the truck, and even got to check out the inside where the firemen sit. The firemen went over some essential safety information, such as knowing emergency exit routes, knowing where fire/smoke alarms are located in your home, and stop-drop-and roll procedures.
This visit was an exciting way for members to start thinking about fire safety and to prepare for future fire drills.
