Administrators for the estate of Annabella Reinhold surprised Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast with a gift Ms. Reinhold was kind enough to bequeath to us. Ms. Reinhold passed away in August in Arroyo Grande and listed the Boys & Girls Clubs as one of her beneficiaries. After a long and interesting life, Ms. Reinhold was generous with her success and wanted to provide for organizations that helped children thrive and succeed. She never had children of her own, and Deane Naylor, longtime friend who delivered the generous check, said “she only liked children once they could have a conversation.”
Ensuring that local kids have a safe place to go after school, with mentors and friends who can help them develop their life skills, and giving them the resources they need to have educations and careers, is exactly the kind of work Ms. Reinhold knew was important to raising competent adults. We’re so grateful she knew that a gift in her memory would help us build kids with character that she would enjoy having a conversation with!
