June 19, 2024 officially marks the third consecutive year of Juneteenth as a federally recognized United States holiday. To celebrate this day, our Members learned more about the history of Juneteenth and created freedom bells. Bells commonly symbolize a beginning or end, they are used to make announcements and mark significant events, and also represent joy and freedom.
