New Additions to Full Time Team Help with Growth and Advancement

As the organization adds Clubs and programs to serve more kids, the need for full time staff to help lead these efforts has also grown.  The Resource Development department is thrilled to announce the addition of Kelly Knox as the Event Manager who is responsible for overseeing the production and execution of numerous events and outreach efforts across our entire service area throughout the year.  In addition, RD has hired Emily Reneau who will fill a new position, Development Manager, coordinating long range campaign efforts like our sizable grant programs as well as capital campaigns necessary to build and expand our Clubs.

Christin McGee has been hired, also in a newly created position, as Executive Assistant, to support the work of the entire Executive Team but specifically the CEO and the Chief of Culture and Equity as well as support the management of the activities of the Board of Directors.

Kelly is excited to join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast in a capacity that allows her to utilize her varied skillset to create and manage fun and engaging events for everyone involved with the organization. She has experience in the nonprofit sector, education, and event management for nonprofit organizations. She’s excited to be a part of this wonderful organization that supports our  future generations. Kelly enjoys riding bikes, hiking, reading, and spending time with her cat in her yard.

Emily has over 20 years of fundraising and community relations experience working for local and national charities including the American Heart Association, the Paso Robles Children’s Museum, Cal Poly, Atascadero Chamber and the Paso Robles Wine Alliance. When she’s not serving on a local board, Emily can be found enjoying local theatre, winetasting, kayaking and hanging out at the beach.

Christin was born and raised in Southern California where she received my BA in Paralegal Studies. She worked in the legal field for years as a paralegal. Christin and her husband relocated to the central coast in the end of 2019. She enjoys hiking, gardening, playing with her fur babies, going for Harley rides and, of course, wine! Christin is very excited to be a part of this amazing organization!
