October has arrived and so have the spooky, Fall vibes here at the Shandon Club! Our members have enjoyed making Halloween crafts like painting paper plate witch hats & spiders, creating oil pastel ghosts, making origami pumpkins & bats, assembling Halloween melting beads, designing and painting cardboard pumpkins, and making windsock ghosts! We love to see our classrooms decorated with masterpieces that our own members create!
Our TK bunch has also been entertained with sensory activities like kinetic sand, cloud dough, colored ice with rice, and fine-motor activities like card lacing using yarn, assembling puzzles, and tracing letters/numbers using Play-Doh.
Soccer, photography, and art sessions have continued to be a lot of fun for our members as well and we are more than excited to visit our local park, library and market again very soon!
A BIG thank you to Farmer’s Market for the visit we received last week! Our BGC families as well as staff are extremely grateful for the produce that is provided, and look forward to receiving our next visit!
