Congressperson Salud Carbajal of the 24th Congressional District, stopped by the Railroad Clubhouse to meet Club Members and tour the facility. As a former Boys & Girls Club Member, himself, Representative Carbajal has a unique understanding of the value of our programs and the need we fill in our community.
In advance of our plans to remodel the Railroad Clubhouse with much needed safety, environmental efficiency, and programming upgrades, we showed him our plans for the future and sought his advice on different avenues for funding. He and his staff were very helpful and very supportive.
It’s a great day when elected officials see the work we do and show their desire to help kids and family’s in their communities.
