Shandon Members Spread Christmas Cheer Around Their Community

On Friday December 15th, a group of Shandon Club Members participated in their community’s Christmas parade. A big heartfelt, “THANK YOU” to the Shandon fire department for allowing the Members to ride the firetruck around town from street to street, waving to neighborhood friends all while spreading Christmas cheer! Hot cocoa was served and offered to all riders as a warm welcome. Santa rode on one truck shouting, “Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas!” His elves joined him, making frequent stops to give people treat bags filled with hot cocoa packets, candy canes, and chocolate candy! The Grinch also joined the parade making his appearance inside a Paso Robles department police car for being a mean one who was on the naughty list. Last but not least, a Member’s parent generously baked and donated strawberry, chocolate, butter pecan, and lemon flavored cupcakes! We all enjoyed their rich and delicious taste! The Shandon Members sure did end their FriYAY in a special way.
