Thanks to members of Planet Fitness gyms in Santa Maria and Atascadero, our Club Members were treated to great, new school supplies including cool back packs, notebooks, crayons, pencils and other important gear to start the year off right.
On a fun day in Santa Maria, staff from Planet Fitness put together packs for every child and included fun Planet Fitness swag for every child as well. The kids were overjoyed with the fun treats and showed their gratitude and appreciation to the Planet Fitness staff on hand.
Thanks to Planet Fitness for their commitment to serving local kids and for their great partnership with our local clubs! On a National level, Planet Fitness has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to help with anti-bullying programming.
Promoting Kindness and Preventing Bullying
The Judgement Free Generation® is Planet Fitness’s signature initiative aimed at promoting kindness and preventing bullying. Rooted in the company’s goal of creating inclusive cultures, the program strives to combat the judgement and bullying faced by today’s youth by championing trauma-informed programming, which acknowledges and aims to understand the impacts of traumatic experiences and respond in ways that encourage positive growth. Together with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Planet Fitness aims to empower a generation to grow up contributing to a more judgement free planet – a place where everyone feels accepted and like they belong.
