A few Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast staff members traveled to Albuquerque to hone their skills in database management and processing systems at the 2026 MyClubHub Academy Conference, hosted by Boys & Girls Clubs of America, at the end of February.
Christin McGee (left), Daisy Perez (center) and Maria Avelar (right) all attended the conference on behalf of the organization to learn more about the entirety of the MyClubHub platform. Some of the topics discussed at the seminar included working with the parent portal, managing attendance updates and cleaning up duplicate records.
The conference facilitators went over how to customize and update the parent portal, permission sets that allow merging duplicates and attendance reporting tools. Another big focus has been on improving data accuracy, making workflows smoother for staff and strengthening communication with families.
Our staff members spent quality time gathering a lot of helpful resources and QR guides that they can bring back and start implementing across all of the organization’s sites to make these processes more efficient and effective, in hopes to serve more young people and their families every day on the Central Coast.
