Commander Danny Rios, who is a Board Member for Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast, graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA, earlier this month on March 18.
Rios, who is also an Alumni of BGCMCC, was one of 253 officers from across the country who had the opportunity to attend and graduate from the program. The prestigious honor is completed by less than 1% of officers nationwide.
The program at the National Academy runs for a total of 10 weeks, in which the officers focus on communication training, leadership skills and overall fitness. According to the FBI website, the course “serves to improve the administration of justice in police departments and agencies at home and abroad and to raise law enforcement standards, knowledge, and cooperation worldwide.”
