We are so excited to welcome the fall time as for many of us here at the Shandon Club, fall is the most favored season! Ms. Zar’s Triple Play sessions have been a success, as well as Ms. Shyleen’s Junk Journaling program. Members have decorated every page in their journals with “themes” that were prepped, for example, “all about me”, “my favorite color”, “things that start with the first letter of my name”, and “fall/autumn”. Art is starting to “fall” into autumn crafts little by little and soon we’ll have a beautiful art wall full of color, leaves, and creativity!
Staff as well as Members truly enjoy our Staff shout out wall that is read out loud every other Friday. Soon, we’ll begin implementing a Member shout out wall, where they can shout each other out whenever they’d like, and we cannot wait to see the caring ways our Youth expresses about each other.
