Earlier this month we were visited by Miss Jeanette, our Director of Teen Services. The students built catapults and goal baskets out of spoons, cardboard, and rubber bands. Whoever could bounce the most ping pong balls into their goals
In the design and testing phases, our members experimented with different angles, levels of force, and the placement of their baskets. The competition was fierce!
At other locations, the record was 3 points. Our future engineers, delighted by their creation, scored 6 points total! It was a close game, with the other team scoring 5.
One of our long time members had to leave us this month, so we celebrated her time with us by making Banana Foster Waffles.
