Roberto Rodriguez, our Chief Operating Officer for Santa Barbara County and Ernie Cuevas, our Director of Healthy Lifestyles, were recently honored to serve as referees for the California State CIF semi-finals football game between Coalinga High School and Highland High School. As members of the Los Padres Football Officials Association, they had to meet criteria to be considered to officiate at this important game.
Berto and Ernie take their referee duties very seriously. As people who care about youth development and local kids, their reputation as high quality officials who care about kids and understand youth sports is a vital avenue for teaching responsibility and personal health preceeds them both. We are proud of this opportunity they both got to experience.
