Our very own Torch Clubbers are taking environmental protection into their own hands by doing a clean-up day! This group lead by our fabulous Ms. Lynea ventured to the nearby Flamson Middle School where the members were able to clean up their own school with the help of some useful tools. This was part of the few community outreach projects the Torch Club group have put together. This taught our members the important of keeping our surroundings free of litter.They also now understand that it takes work to keep their schools clean and they have the responsibility of that. Our janitors are appreciated and work hard to keep campuses clean, our members have gained that greater perspective.
Torch Club is a leadership skill-building and community service program offered by BCCA and is offered at all of our Club sites.
