Our Santa Maria & Guadalupe staff participated in an Elements of a High-Quality Session training. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast are committed to implementing High Quality programs throughout all of our Club sites. Our staff spent the morning learning how to incorporate these important elements into their day-to-day sessions.

We had 35 Youth Development Professionals (YDP’s) participate in role playing, active learning were all staff had to actively participate. One of the training session included staff participating in a role playing skit on how they would handle a situation. Afterwards the whole group would discuss how they did and what could have been done differently.
