Meet Carlos, one of the members of our Teen Club. He’s a 9th grader and is 14 years old. The staff says Carlos is very kind and always willing to help and share with others. He loves playing soccer. With the new outdoor space at the Railroad Club, he can really start enjoying more soccer when he’s at the Club. Carlos has been a member for one year and he likes the fun activities offered in the Teen Room and is happy there is an X-box for teens to use. He likes the Teen Program staff, Jordann and Pedro, and admits that without the Boys & Girls Club he would be at a different center that he doesn’t like as much. Carlos admits that his experience at the Boys & Girls Club is his favorite.
Carlos has goals of going to college in the ROTC program where he can become and officer in the military.
