The Boys & Girls Club of Mid Central Coast participated at the annual Free Family Kite Festival hosted by the Santa Maria Discovery Museum and the City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks at Rotary Centennial Park. Kids of all ages enjoyed an afternoon of kite flying fun while visiting various local booths including ours from the Boys and Girls Club Mid Central Coast.
Our team of youth development professionals provided hands-on activities for kids including DIY Pinwheels and Paper Copter Building. In addition, our community outreach booth shared the various program offerings we have available in Santa Maria. It was a great event of community building and youth engagement while soaking up the sun and enjoying our classic Santa Maria windy afternoons!
