We kicked off our new program series “Meet A Professional” lwith our very own CEO, Maria Fabula. Meet A Professional is a monthly program for all local teens to meet local professionals across a variety of industries and fields to learn about careers on the Central Coast.
Maria shared her knowledge and expertise in the field of non-profits and how non-profits are helping communities everyday. In speaking with the teens after the presentation, most of them mentioned they had never considered nor had ever looked into non-profit work but they found the presentation very informative.
On February 5th, we will be welcoming a police lieutenant from the Santa Maria Police Department as our speaker. We welcome all teens to come and join us at our Railroad Club located at 901 N Railroad Ave in Santa Maria at 5:30pm. For more information contact Mina Donkor at [email protected]
