Tom Maas Building and Other Capital Projects Keep Making Progress

The construction of Tom Maas Clubhouse in Paso Robles is well under way!  The state -of-the-art Club has had steady activity since breaking ground in March.  To date, site retaining walls are almost complete…and with some 16″ thick block in the tallest ones, they are sturdy! Framing continues to move faster now and should be complete in October. We continue contacting subcontractors and material suppliers to introduce them to the project and ask for support.

With access to the LeRoy Park Community Center we will add a third Club to Guadalupe.  Currently, our Clubs at Mary Buren and Mackenzie Schools are full so when the LeRoy Club site opens, we will be able to serve about 100 additional kids.  Anticipating being open by mid-January, we are finalizing our MOU with the City and will begin promotion for new Members.

In addition, our Railroad Club in Santa Maria–our flagship club and administrative headquarters–is undergoing some refreshing of the outdoor areas.  With new turf, new hardscape and plans for an outdoor gathering space and new basketball courts, we can offer more outdoor programming to our Club Members.
