Our Shandon Members had a “heart” felt celebration during our time together on this year’s Valentine’s Day. We had some of our older Members begin by completing an ice breaker where they wrote on a sticky note their favorite thing that they love about themselves and after sharing, they stuck it to our window. We then had all Members play a few games including “telephone” and lining up in the order of their birth dates and a variety of different V-day crafts were completed as well! After, we had Members who made valentine cards pass them out to everyone including our staff, and finally, the kids had a blast decorating sugar cookies as well as eating mini cheesecakes and chocolate covered strawberries while listening to oldies love songs.
