The Shandon Club recently welcomed their new group of TK/K Members on Thursday, June 13th. After signing in to the club, they sit together with Ms. Zar and participate in “circle time”. During circle time they learn about the calendar, weather, current season, shapes and colors. After they listen to their weekly book and felt story that Ms. Zar reads aloud, they sing their weekly song. After circle time, outdoor playtime in the playground takes place followed by indoor snack. Ms. Itzel plans and leads fine-motor, writing and math worksheets with both TK and Kinder, and on Fridays, Members explore sensory play. The Shandon Staff cannot wait to see how TK/K Members continue to grow and improve throughout the school year.
