Winter Planting at the Railroad Club

Club Members, with direction from Youth Development Professional, Mary Rosas, have spent the last few weeks planting seeds, tracking their growth, and are now starting to see some new life.  The kids planted beans, potato, and avocado and the bean plants are starting to sprout!  Not only are they learning and experiementing with plants, growing cycels, and soil, they are documenting their observations and tracking time on this long term project.
