2025 Off to A Very Active Start at Tom Maas Clubhouse

January was a very active month at theTom Maas Clubhouse in Paso Robles.  From art, science, craft and physical activity there was nothing our Club Members missed!  This month, Members took on the Spiderweb Challenge! They worked their way across a web of string stretched from wall to wall, building motor skills while having tons of fun.Members from the TK and kindergarten group had a blast playing human tic-tac-toe. This fun activity helped them build teamwork, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills while having lots of fun.Members hit the field for an exciting game of flag football this month. The activity was full of energy, teamwork, and fun, giving everyone a chance to stay active and show their sportsmanship.

Members also joined in on an exciting game of tug-of-war this month. The classic activity brought out their teamwork, strength, and determination while having loads of fun.Our kids tapped into their creativity this month by making beautiful salt art and painting with watercolors. It was a fun and artistic way for them to express themselves. This month, our members got creative making handprint aliens and had a blast playing Marco Polo out in the field. It was a perfect mix of imagination and active fun!

Members also had a blast with Minute to Win It games, testing their skills in fun challenges like moving cotton balls blindfolded and with straws.To honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day, they watched the ‘I Have a Dream’ speech, reflected on their own dreams, and added their handprints to a meaningful poster.

Finally, our SMART Girls program focused on self-love and creativity as members decorated affirmation handheld mirrors.Out on the field, members enjoyed an energetic and exciting game of soccer, building teamwork and having tons of fun!
