Evans Park Kids Explore the Properties of Dry Ice

The Club Kids at Evans Park had an exciting science day where they explored the properties of dry ice earlier this June.

They watched as dry ice created thick fog when placed in warm water and saw streams of bubbles overflow from a container filled with soapy water, creating a fun bubble volcano effect. Through these safe demonstrations, everyone learned about the unique way dry ice changes directly from a solid into a gas, making science both educational and entertaining.

Learning about dry ice was a part of our STEM program, where our kids learn about different topics from the subjects of science, technology, engineering or mathematics. The interactive experiments allow them to understand many scientific concepts in a tangible way of learning.
