We have been having lots of fun crafts and informative art activities at the Atascadero Club. Crafts such as building paper airplanes using other supplies beyond just paper, allowed for members to use their critical thinking skills as well as creativity to make their airplanes use wind to their advantage in order to make their planes fly better.
We also have had staff demonstrate how to draw complex things such as a lion using simple shapes and different mediums of art such as pastels and water color to decorate them.
Members also learned about different bugs: spiders, ladybugs, and butterflies. Then they were able to use a pre-cut out template to make their own using water color to decorate.
