Evans Park Kids Embrace Warmer Weather With STEM Slushies

On a hot day in March, members at the Evans Park Clubhouse enjoyed a fun STEM activity by making slushies in a bag using juice, ice and salt.

Through this hands-on experiment members learned about temperature, freezing points and how physical changes happen in matter, while cooling off with a tasty treat.

STEM activities are a fun way for our Club Members to learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics. These core subjects inspire the kids to develop and dream about their future selves, and how they may fall into one of these vital career paths.
