August has kicked off with lots of excitement and changes at the Boys and Girls Club in Creston. We are excited to start off the school year with brand new members and new staff. For a getting to know you activity, Members talked about who they are and got to share two truths, and one lie. The rest of their class got to guess which of the facts were true, and which one was not.
The kids got to do construction paper art, with whatever nature or animals that they wanted. Another fun activity was painting with the foam brushes. Members got to experiment with different colors and shapes that the fun brushes could create.In the sunshine, Members got to play kickball, dodgeball, flag football and other outdoor games. For indoor activities, playdough was neat and we got lots of interesting rollers and shapes for them to use. Members cooked their own culinary creations and got to serve them with tableside service at their own restaurant.
