The very popular Next Gen CEO program, made possible through a partnership with the Santa Maria Valley Chamber and the support of the Guadalupe Union School District, had a succesful launch at our Kermit McKenzie Club in Guadalupe. This program submerses would-be CEO’s into a 6-week program where they learn to build, fund, market and lead a business of their own. This current crop of future business leaders created businesses selling things like key chains, slime and even travel kits. The course ends with a “business launch” day that includes a ribbon cutting and an opportunity to sell or promote their products to the community. The Guadalupe community supported our Club kids with gusto!
