This month, we’re thrilled to recognize Olivia and Jordann as our Team Members of the Month! Their creativity, dedication, and leadership shone brightly as they led the design and construction of an incredible float for the annual Santa Maria Elks Rodeo Parade. The farm-themed float left everyone in awe! From handcrafting cornstalks out of PVC pipe and green wrapping paper, to transforming plastic water bottles into painted ears of corn, their resourcefulness was truly inspiring. They even built a life-sized tractor from scratch using cardboard and boxes — bringing their creative vision to life in the most imaginative way.
What makes their achievement even more special is how they included others in the process. Olivia and Jordann continued to prioritize programming and ensured members were actively involved — painting fences, gluing flowers, and contributing to the float’s design. Thanks to their leadership, our members played a key role in the success and had fun doing it! Olivia and Jordann exemplify the spirit of our organization. Whether decorating a float or supporting members through everyday activities, they do it all with passion, heart, and excellence.
