Nominated by Maria Avelar, Club Director at the Tom Maas Clubhouse in Paso Robles, this is what she has to say about the great work Shane does for our Clubs in North SLO: “Shane is one of the hardest-working individuals I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Whether he’s bringing in his own tools to ensure a job gets done right or researching techniques online to make sure it’s done correctly, his dedication is clear. Shane is always kind, respectful, and takes great pride in keeping both the Maas and Flamson Clubs clean and safe for youth and staff. He addresses safety concerns promptly and provides thoughtful input when asked.
Because he’s not part of the programs team, his efforts often go unseen—he’s not at our regular trainings, and many people don’t realize just how much he contributes each day behind the scenes.
This year, the Tom Maas Clubhouse received the Beautification of the Year Award from the Paso Chamber, an honor given to those who make impactful improvements to the community’s appearance and quality. I truly believe Shane played a major role in earning this recognition. He is incredibly deserving of the Team Member of the Month award.”
