The Flamson Clubs weekly Friday cooking classes with the middle schoolers are a great time to teach about responsibility in the kitchen setting. They learn cooking etiquette and as well as cooking hygiene rules. For the recent grilled cheese making classe we did assigned roles. We had two middle schoolers spreading butter onto the sour dough bread, two middle schoolers cooking the bacon, three making the grilled cheese, one on dishes, and one writing down who wanted what type of grilled cheese. At the end we all get to enjoy the tasty grilled cheese. A fan favorite was the grilled cheese with bacon!
