It’s always a special treat when people make a special effort to raise money for our kids but when college students do it with an all day bake sale, their treats really ARE a treat! Recently, a group of students at Cuesta College were asked to tackle a local problem with a creative solution. This group of students reached out to us and wanted to know of ways they could raise money to help our Clubs. After brainstorming lots of potential projects, they decided that an all day bake sale on their campus would be a good use of their talents as a group and would be a fun way to spread the word about the need to support local kids. All together, they raised over $200 with scrumptious cookies! We say that’s a tasty way to tackle a problem.
