On Monday, December 19, 2022, Assemblymember Dawn Addis visited the new State of the Art Tom Maas Boys & Girls Club in Paso Robles. While there, she toured the club, got to interact with some of the youth members and met with CEO, Michael Boyer and Development Manager, Emily Reneau to learn about the programs happening at the clubs in the county and the plans for expansion. The highlight was seeing the Idler’s Learning Kitchen and watching youth participate in a cooking lesson. Assemblymember Addis stated on her Facebook page that the kitchen “smelled like the holidays”. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast look forward to hosting local politicians in the near future to showcase our clubs.
