Everybody Wants to Be Part of Boys & Girls Clubs!

The Ron Estabillo Clubhouse in Guadalupe is such a popular place, all kinds of creatures want to be Members!  Club Staff were greeted by a gopher snake when they recently opened for business.  Thinking quickly, Staff contacted Santa Barbara County Animal Control and created a safe zone for the animal while waiting for Animal Control to arrive.  Finding learning opportunities everywhere, Animal Control staff used this snake encounter as a teachable moment for Club Members.  They also let Club Members participate as the snake was returned to its natural habitat.
