Special thanks to the Golden State Classic Car Club for their recent donation to our kids! Last year, their charitable giving amounted approximately $65,000 to local youth groups, service clubs and other organizations from proceeds of events. The car club tries to organize monthly social and recreational activities. Their main fundraising activities include our GSCCC May Car Show in the Paso Robles Downtown City Park and the December Show & Shine Car Show held at Daniels Woodland in Paso Robles. Proceeds from monthly activities and the May Car Show benefit local charities and the December Car Show proceeds 100% benefit the Toy Bank of Greater Paso Robles.
At the end of each year, members of the Car Club nominate local charities they wish to recognize and our Board of Directors makes the final monetary and organization decisions. Car Club Member, April Lambirth, nominated the Boys and Girls Club of Mid Central Coast for a donation, which was approved for $1,000.
