Science Lights Up In Guadalupe

The Boys & Girls Club, in partnership with the Guadalupe Union School District put on an exciting science experiment at the Guadalupe Jr. High site where members got to roll up their sleeves and explore the density of oils using test tubes, pipettes, vegetable and olive oil. After testing their density, they used the oil from the previous experiment to create lava lamps by adding water, food coloring, and the activator which is an Alka-Seltzer. It’s safe to say that this is just another day of hands-on learning and exciting science experiments at the GJHS site!
