Youth for Unity

At Lunch time this April, we held our Youth for Unity program. We had many participants members as well as non-members. We created self portraits, a collage cook book, and ended the month by making a banner of commitments to make our community a safer place for all.

This week at the Almond Acres Club, members got a chance to put their sculpting skills to the test to create their favorite foods. Our first week has been filled with activities for the classes to get to know each other, including using Play-Doh to showcase some of the members favorite things.

Disease Prevention Posters

As part of a grant-funded project, Club Member’s  learned about Covid 19 and how to prevent the spread of disease through a series of educational workshops.  They got to participate in making some posters to post in our clubhouse to educate our community.

Ultimate Journey Planting Session
